Privacy Notice

How Congenius S.A. de C.V. collects and processes your personal data, under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Last updated: May 2026.

Important: This website is operated by Congenius S.A. de C.V., a company incorporated in Mexico. By using this site, you acknowledge that the processing of your personal data is governed by the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares — LFPDPPP), Mexican federal law. Any privacy-related disputes shall be subject to Mexican jurisdiction.

1. Data Controller

Congenius, S.A. de C.V. ("Congenius"), with offices at Av. Ignacio Zaragoza #279, Int. 207, Centro, 76000 Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico (RFC CON191114S18), is responsible for the personal data collected through this website and the contact channels described here. For any data-protection matter, contact us at info@congenius.com.mx.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect personal data you provide directly through our contact form, email, or phone:

  • Full name.
  • Corporate email.
  • Company name.
  • Industry sector and approximate workforce size.
  • The type of service you are inquiring about.
  • Any information you choose to include in your message.

Through tracking technologies (see section 10), we may also collect technical browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and traffic source. We do not collect sensitive personal data through this site.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your data to:

  • Respond to your contact, information, or quote request.
  • Provide proposals and the professional EHS consulting services you may engage.
  • Maintain operational communication about requested or contracted services.
  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, and contractual obligations.

4. Legal Basis

We process your data based on your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you request, and our legitimate business interest in responding to qualified industrial inquiries.

5. Data Sharing

We may share your data, solely for the purposes above, with:

  • Technology providers (web hosting and infrastructure, form processing, and analytics) that support the operation of this site.
  • Competent authorities, where a legal or judicial requirement applies.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International Transfers

Some of our technology providers store data on servers located outside Mexico (for example, in the United States). Where this occurs, we work with providers that offer a comparable level of data protection. Under article 37 of the LFPDPPP, certain transfers do not require your consent; in all other cases, we will request your prior, express consent.

7. Your Rights (ARCO)

Under Mexican law you have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Oppose the processing of your personal data (the "ARCO" rights). To exercise them, send a request to info@congenius.com.mx including:

  1. Your full name and a contact method for our reply.
  2. A copy of an official ID (or proof of legal representation).
  3. A clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise.

We will respond within 20 business days of receiving your request, as provided by the LFPDPPP. You may also withdraw consent for secondary purposes (such as updates or newsletters) at any time without affecting your relationship with Congenius.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and to comply with applicable legal and tax obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized access — including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls.

10. Cookies and Tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, analyze traffic, and improve the experience. In particular:

  • Functional cookies, required for the site to work correctly.
  • Google Analytics 4, for aggregate statistical analysis of site usage.
  • Form-processing services, to handle the messages you send.

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to be notified before they are set; some functionality may be affected if cookies are disabled.

11. Changes to This Notice

Congenius may update this Privacy Notice at any time in response to legislative changes, authority requirements, new services, or internal policies. Updates are published on this page, with the date of the latest version. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
